It seems like we’ve been waiting forever for Adele to reemerge on the music scene and remind everyone that when it comes to sad, soulful ballads, she’s the queen. The singer took a three-year hiatus, but now she’s back and making us cry harder than ever with the release of her new music video for “Hello,” which has been giving us all the feels.

Adele sent social media in a tizzy after the the video dropped – Kate Hudson Instagrammed a photo of herself with tears pouring from her eyes, clutching a pillow – pretty much the default position to assume if you’re listening to Adele’s music.

Now that she’s got her new album 25 to promote, we can expect to see a lot more of Adele, whose media blitz begins with a cover from i-D, a haunting black and white portrait of the singer rocking some serious retro graphic cat eyeliner, captured by Alasdair McLellan.

Of course, we are all dying to know what Adele has been up to in her time off and the interview promises to give us some tea on her upcoming album, being a mother and everything in between. Obviously, the singer’s life is much different than it was when she released 21, so much so, that she’s even described 25 as a make-up album, as opposed to her last two which were quite heartbreak-y. “I feel like there’s been a massive change in me in the last couple of years, having become a parent, and me and all my friends suddenly living grown-up lives and having responsibilities we haven’t had before,“ Adele told Beats 1′s Zane Lowe. "I feel like how I feel about myself is how I’m going to feel about myself forever.”

We can’t wait to hear more of what the singer has to say – and, of course all her new music. November 20th can’t come soon enough.
