Bored With Greek Yogurt and Berries? We Are, Too

Alessandra Bulow

Bored with your usual Greek yogurt with granola and berries? We are too. We’ve used Greek yogurt as a marinade for tenderizing chicken and meat, in fruit parfaits, as a dressing for vegetables, and in frozen yogurt. It’s time for a remix. Here, six new ways to use Greek yogurt:

1. Cheesecake: This ultra creamy Greek Yogurt Cheesecake with Pomegranate Syrup is gelatin-based so it doesn’t need to be cooked.

2. Face Mask: Full fat Greek yogurt has loads of lactic acid, a natural exfoliator. Mix it with honey (a natural moisturizing humectant) and apply with a makeup brush, cotton balls, or a silicone basting brush if you’re in a pinch.

3. Cheese Balls: Transform Greek yogurt into bright fresh cheese for your next party’s cheese plate.

4. Lazy Man’s Healthy Onion Dip: Mix one packet of Lipton Recipe Secrets Onion soup mix into a 17 oz tub of non-fat Greek yogurt for a healthier version of the classic favorite.

5. Guacamole: Lighten up classic guacamole by adding Greek yogurt which also makes it extra creamy and tangy.

7. Creamy Sriracha: If you love Sriracha but always need a dairy chaser to combat the heat, combine the hot sauce with Greek yogurt for a spicy-and-cooling dip that gives a great kick to chicken, beef, and lamb.
