There’s a new designer emerging into the red carpet realm and her name is Gabriela Cadena. Today the Ecuadorian-born, Miami-bred newbie showed a lot of promise with a bevy of sparkly, cutout gowns that are sure to delight her growing base of celebrity clients. Here’s what you need to know:

1. Cadena, 34, has dressed Camila Alves for the Oscars, and Miranda Lambert for the 2015 Grammys. She also customized Rita Ora’s New Year’s Eve dress and is a favorite of BFFs Gigi Hadid and Hailey Baldwin.

2. The designer managed to lure the top supermodel of the season to walk in her first show at New York Fashion Week! The impressive roster included: Caroline Trentini, a Vogue favorite; Binx Walton, who just appeared alongside Gigi Hadid in the March 2015 addition of Teen Vogue; Lexi Boling, who went topless in the recent Kardashian edition of Love magazine; Jourdan Dunn, the first black model make Forbes top model list in 2014; Isabeli Fontana, a Pirelli calendar star; Cameron Russell, a Steven Meisel favorite; Lindsey Wixson, known for her “bee-stung” lips; and Yumi Lambert, a Victoria’s Secret model.

3. She held the show on the 64th floor of One World Trade Center (one of the first times a designer has shown there!). The super swanky setup included a mirrored runway lined with cascading magenta orchid trees. (Did we mention this was her first show?!)

4. Cadena’s best friends are on par with her top-notch models. Sitting front row were Victoria’s Secret model Adriana Lima, fashion blogger Danielle Bernstein of WeWoreWhat (they’ve been friends for two years), and Paris Hilton. “We actually met at Paris Fashion Week last year. She’s so sweet,” Hilton told Yahoo Style. “A mutual friend introduced us and she sent me dresses to wear when I was there. We’ve been friends ever since.”

5. The new designer’s show time was at 4pm EST…the same time as Kanye West’s Adidas presentation. The up-and-coming designer definitely managed to hold her own. And the full benches that flanked the runway proved it.
