As the Grab Your Wallet boycott has proven, there's real power in how you spend your money. And for the socially conscious animal lovers among us, the same can be said about what beauty brands you support. But it isn't always easy to tell which cosmetics are truly cruelty-free. Carefully worded brand statements, the ways ingredients are sourced, and different labeling criteria can all make shopping tricky to navigate. That's why we narrowed down a few of our favorites for you. Some are niche brands you might not have discovered yet, and others are probably in your makeup bag right now.
