20 Pieces to Get You Noticed by Photographers at Fashion Week

By Diana Tsui

As street style gets more and more out-there every season, it gets evermore challenging to attract the attention of photographers. If you’re not Miroslava Duma or Anna Dello Russo — who regularly wear styles that haven’t even hit the runways yet — creative styling is key. The perfect street-style look features a mix of emerging designers with the must-have pieces of the season, like a dash of Ostwald Helgason accented with a giant single earring by the likes of Céline or Louis Vuitton. But before you look like you’re trying too hard, you might also want to incorporate something more low-key, like a pair of nondescript white sneakers or a piece of Zéline.

If you look at the February shows, people tend to wear a lot of fur. Granted, it was also because it was freezing, but adding texture to any outfit can’t hurt. Since it’s barely fall, expect to see it on a clutch or shoe instead of a coat.
