17 white shoes you’ll want to wear before, during, and after Labor Day
Not that we ever need an excuse to justify a little retail therapy, but there’s no time like Labor Day to duck in out of the heat and take advantage of some of the best end-of-summer sales. And with one of our favorite three-day weekend holidays fast approaching, there’s only one trend on our sartorial radars: white shoes.
White sneakers have proved a worthy footwear trend since, well, forever. But right now, it seems the full spectrum of cream, white, and ivory kicks are having their moment in the sun. From slip-on sandals to chunky platforms and sleek pointed-toe booties, this crisp shoe trend is proving one of the biggest street style trends on the cusp of catching fire.
So clearly, right now is the perfect moment to double down on some pre-Labor Day sales, scoop up some pristine white kicks, and wear said shoes for whatever Labor Day plans you might have. That, folks, is what we like to call a win-win-win.
And before you even think it, let us stop you right there on that whole “no white after Labor Day” mumbo jumbo — wearing white before, during, and after Labor Day is most definitely acceptable. Some sartorial rules are just meant to be broken!
