While some critics have sniffed at the Iraqi-British architect’s vision, claiming they’re more about ego than public utility one can’t deny she’s created some of the most exciting buildings in the world over the last two decades. And although she’s quite prolific—current projects include a hotel in Macao, a banking headquarters in Bilbao, and a luxury condo tower in Miami—not all of her dreams come into fruition.
