'The Saddest Bookworm' Baby Has Epic Meltdown — Until Mom Reads Book Again

A hilarious video of a baby with a passion for literature is making the rounds, and we can’t stop hitting replay.

In a clip called “the saddest bookworm,” a mom is shown reading I Am a Bunny by Ole Risom to her utterly captivated son, who adorably hangs onto her every word. As soon as she closes the book and says,“the end,” the little guy has an epic meltdown. He eventually stops crying when (and only when!) mom opens the book and starts reading again.

Lest the viewer think his reaction was a fluke, the video goes on to show more examples of “the end” of story time ending in tears. Apparently, this happens all the time. Just imagine how ecstatic he’ll be one day when he can read to himself!
