YETI

It's nearly impossible to talk about Yeti without mentioning Texas. The Austin-based company was the brainchild of two brothers who felt the average cooler couldn't withstand fishing in the state's Gulf waters or hunting excursions in its rugged terrain. And now, more than a dozen years later, the brand is still getting inspiration from the Lone Star State.

This week, Yeti released select coolers, tumblers, and bags in a fresh, limited-edition color called Aquifer Blue. The vibrant teal is reminiscent of Texas' clear swimming holes that offer cool sanctuary from summer's relentless heat.

"Hidden amongst dehydrated terrain lies an underworld of invigorating, adventure-quenching aquifers that change every molecule in our body with just a touch," the brand wrote on its site.

Aquifer Blue joins Yeti's veritable rainbow collection of colors that also include luxe Copper, a magenta Prickly Pear Pink, and classic Navy. All tumblers, mugs, and bottles feature the brand's signature Duracoat exterior, which prevents fading, peeling, and cracking, and gives the containers a slight texture for easier gripping. Meanwhile, the bags are built from a high-density fabric that resists punctures and discoloring from mildew or UV rays.

You can shop more than 20 items in Aquifer Blue, including can insulators, lunch bags, and the brand's flagship Tundra hard cooler. We're definitely grabbing a couple of lowball glasses in the new shade; they easily transition from hot coffee to cold cocktails and only cost $20.

But we wouldn't wait—the limited-edition color is already flying off virtual shelves. Not only has the Aquifer Blue Tumbler jumped to the top of Amazon's Movers and Shakers list this morning, but the brand's Crossroads backpack already sold out.

We've rounded up a couple of our favorite Aquifer Blue finds, from mugs that keep drinks piping hot for hours to coolers that are guaranteed grizzly proof. Check them out below, and head to yeti.com for the entire collection.
