Woman shares eerie video of ‘haunting’ in her home’s basement: 'Why did I watch this before bed'
A Canadian woman who claims her house is haunted shared a creepy video on TikTok purportedly showing the restless spirits in action.
Kathy Gallinger, who lives with her husband Jamie and daughter Jayden in Quinte West, Ontario, videotaped an alleged paranormal encounter while she was home alone.

“Ok, guys, I’m hearing noises in the basement like the drums,” she says in the clip, which has since been viewed over 3 million times. “I’m trying to be brave like everyone said, it’s just me in the house tonight.”
As Gallinger stands at the top of the stairs leading to the home’s finished basement, the drums can be heard playing in the background.
“You heard that, right?” she asks the camera. “I’m going to be brave, I’m going downstairs.”
“Hello?” she calls out while panning around the room, noting that the drumsticks somehow ended up on the ground.
Suddenly, a painting behind the phantom drum set falls to the ground, clashing against one of the cymbals and sending Gallinger sprinting back up the stairs.
“Oh my god, oh my god,” she exclaims. “I’m going upstairs. Oh no no no.”
Whether or not any spirits were involved in the making of Gallinger’s video, it certainly freaked out TikTok users.
“Going back upstairs??? Nah sis,” wrote one user. “I’d be grabbing the car keys and peacing out!”
“I wouldn’t be staying there I would be grabbing the keys and bouncing!” added another.
“I jumped when the picture came off the wall,” wrote a third. “Seems to be escalating a bit.”
“Why did I watch this before bed,” questioned another.
Gallinger has been documenting her family home’s alleged poltergeist for months now on social media.
In another unsettling clip posted on July 3, her family ventures into the basement after hearing the drum set playing by itself. After husband Jamie makes it downstairs, two bottles seem to fly off a wine rack, sending him flying back up.
Other alleged paranormal incidents in the home include the appearance of floating "orbs," a teddy bear moving without being touched and a closet that opens on its own.
In a three-part series, Gallinger explained she believes the observances may be tied to a “miserable” elderly former neighbor, whose home was torn down following his death.
