If you happened to miss National Bagel Day and National Popcorn Day this month, don't fret, because this next national day may be the one to put both of those to shame. National Pie Day, which may or may not be dubbed "cure my sweet tooth day" by all the important people (a.k.a me, myself, and I), has officially arrived (it's January 23!) and it's the perfect time to throw on your favorite baking attire and make some magic happen in the kitchen.

Though National Pie Day is definitely all about pie, the premise of the "holiday" came about in the 1970s when Charlie Papazian—a schoolteacher from Boulder, CO, who was a huge fan of pie—declared his birthday to be known as Pie Day. And while it took some time for everyone else to jump on the bandwagon, now the day has become so popular that people everywhere acknowledge the day with a plethora of deals, steals, and by eating pie for every meal.

While baking is a therapeutic hobby, if you're not interested in becoming a pie master to celebrate National Pie Day this year, there are a few restaurants and businesses that are willing to do the hard work for you. If this is your first year celebrating the big day though, you'll definitely want to "feast your pies" on these delicious deals to get you started.

Not able to get any of these deals during their timeframe? Try your hand at this cranberry apple pie recipe or this traditional home-baked apple pie recipe to hold you over.

Black Angus Steakhouse

If you happen to be in California, Arizona, Washington, or Hawaii, you'll be happy to know that Black Angus Steakhouse has something tasty baked up for Prime Club members this year for National Pie Day. With any purchase of an entrée, Prime Club members can add on a slice of Sky-High Mud Pie—the steakhouse's famous pie with a chocolate cookie crumb crust filled with fudge-swirled mocha almond ice cream—for just $2.50. Be sure to remember that you can only redeem this deal through takeaway and curbside pickup, or with outdoor dining (depending on local area mandates).

Eckert's

Can't get one of your grandmother's home-baked pies this year? Don't you worry; Eckert's is here to save the day. Known as the nation's largest family-owned and operated pick-your-own orchard, the farm will be offering a BOGO deal for one day only. Though Eckert's has over 20 flavors of their home-baked pies, this buy-one-get-one deal is only valid on their Caramel Apple Walnut Pie, Dutch Apple Pie, Double Crust Apple Pie, and the No Sugar Added Pie.

Village Inn

If you're looking to enjoy a sweet treat after you've picked up your meal for the day, Village Inn has got the deal for you. The restaurant—which regularly offers a free slice of pie every Wednesday with the purchase of a dine-in entrée—is giving customers the opportunity to enjoy $2 off any whole pie from January 22 to January 24. This offer is only valid in-restaurant at participating locations and excludes both cheesecake and carrot cake options.

Ardent

Actually want to try your hand at baking the perfect pie? Ardent—the company responsible for creating the all-in-one cannabis kitchen appliance, Ardent FX (a.k.a. the "Easy-Bake Oven"—will be offering 50 percent off of their DIY infusing kit, the Apple Pie & FX Double Lifter Bundle. Regularly priced at $60, the kit allows you the opportunity to fully bake an infused apple pie and includes a customizable dose option. In the kit, you'll get the FX Double Lifter, two disposable cups for infusing, one gourmet apple pie filling, two pie tart shells, and 2 oz. of coconut oil. The Ardent FX, however, must be purchased separately. But, if you need a little push to spend the coin on it, it can also be used as a regular kitchen appliance, too.

Erika's Tea Room

Though technically not a pie, Erika's Tea Room's deal on scones for National Pie Day was just too good not to add in. Scone lovers can enjoy an assorted dozen of Erika's pie-inspired scones—including apple pie, pumpkin pie, and blueberry pie flavors—for $40 per box plus shipping. And, to add a little razzle to this dazzling deal, the brand is also divvying out complimentary 1-ounce pie-inspired teas (apple pie black tea, black and blueberry pie herbal tea, and pumpkin pie green tea) for each order made. Just visit the brand's website to redeem this deal.
