Simon Porte Jacquemus has become one of today's most influential names in fashion, having built his buzzy eponymous brand Jacquemus from the ground up. With more fashion companies tapping young designers to helm their brands, it wouldn't be a huge surprise if the creative joined a major label.

The designer took to Instagram to share a conversation he had with Anna Wintour. "Five years ago Anna Wintour asked me if I wanted to work for a big house," the post read, suggesting that Jacquemus had the chance to join a big fashion brand. The 32-year-old responded to Wintour, "I said I have a big house. It's called Jacquemus." The creative captioned the post, "The dream starts when you start dreaming."

Jacquemus first launched his brand in 2009, rising to one of fashion's most-talked-about brands thanks to his It bags, as well as Instagrammable pop-ups. Most recently during Paris Fashion Week, the creative opened his first-ever boutique for the brand following the launch of his coveted Nike collaboration (which is set to be reprised in a hot pink colorway).

According to Business of Fashion, Jacquemus is on track to double annual revenues to over €200 million EUR (approximately $198 million USD) by year-end and is planning to reach €500 million EUR (approximately $496 million USD) by 2025.

If it were to ever happen, which brand could you see Jacquemus at?
