Popeyes's Cajun-Style Turkey Is Returning For Thanksgiving So Dinner Is Covered

When it comes to fried chicken, the classic dish is basically synonymous with Popeyes. They have their recently released chicken nuggets, their iconic chicken sandwich, and, of course, the signature chicken meal, all of which should be accompanied by lots and lots of buttery biscuits.

But one thing is for sure: You definitely do not think of turkey when Popeyes comes to mind, and you definitely don’t think of Thanksgiving—until now. The chicken chain is bringing back their Cajun-Style Turkey. If you aren’t a big follower of Popeyes, then you probably won’t know that they bring this precooked frozen turkey back every year to make Thanksgiving that much easier for you.

All the work is already done. The outside is rubbed in a blend of paprika, red pepper, garlic, and onion before being marinated in a Creole butter. The only thing you’ll be in charge of is defrosting and reheating it. If you can’t be bothered with the side dishes either, you can order mashed potatoes, mac and cheese, and biscuits so your whole meal is covered.

The turkey will be available for pre-order starting October 18 at participating Popeyes locations. You can call or visit your closest location in person to put in the order. Think about how easy and stress-free Turkey Day can be when you have the turkey already covered! You’ll have so much extra time to go totally ham (or turkey?) on the drinks and desserts for the best spread ever.
