Pillsbury is Honoring Our Troops with New Shape Flag Sugar Cookie Dough

Pillsbury has a brand-new—and delicious—way to salute the troops. In time for Flag Day gatherings on June 14, and Fourth of July barbecues, the baking company has introduced a new ready-to-bake cookie dough complete with a U.S. flag. Patriotism has never tasted so good.
The new cookie dough was created in partnership with Operation Homefront, an organization that helps military families transition back to civilian life after they leave the military. According to Chewboom.com, for every cookie purchased from now through the end of August, Pillsbury will donate a portion of the sales to Operation Homefront up to $150,000.
The new cookies are part of Pillsbury's Shape Sugar Cookie Dough line, making it a super easy way to support military families and serve up some tasty cookies while you're at it. Plus, if you're in a hurry, they are definitely easier to make than the Sour Cream Flag Cake or the Cherry Flag Pie and will still make a splash.
If you want in on the fun, you'll be able to spot the special ready-to-bake sugar cookies on the grocery store shelves by looking for the star-spangled box with the Pillsbury Dough Boy saluting the cookie flag right on the box.
