Some restaurants are open for Thanksgiving on Nov. 24 for dining and takeout, and some, including caterers, are offering takeout meals in advance to heat at home.

A to Z Dinners: Pre-order ready-to-heat Thanksgiving dinners home-delivered on Nov. 23 to Waukesha, Milwaukee, and Ozaukee counties. The turkey or ham dinner package ($100) serves four and includes three sides, your choice of mashed potatoes and gravy, herb stuffing, creamed corn, green beans almondine, candied sweet potatoes, or maple glazed carrots. Additional sides and a salted caramel apple pie are available to add to your order. Ardent - Reserve a Thanksgiving take-home dinner kit for two ($130). The kit includes herb-roasted turkey (white and dark meat), honey-baked ham, sage stuffing, gravy, orange-ginger cranberry sauce, green bean casserole, gratin potatoes, rolls and butter, and pumpkin pie. The fully cooked meal kit features rotisserie roasted organic Amish turkey breasts with side dishes and dessert.
