Mark Ruffalo's Larger-Than-Life Hair in Throwback Photo Sends Fans Into a Frenzy

Instagram users insist it's actually a photo of Slash or a relative of Bob Ross.

Before Mark Ruffalo became a slicked-back silver fox, he rocked a thick head of very voluminous dark curly hair.

Don't believe us? Well, the award-winning actor and producer, 55, supplied proof on Instagram earlier today when he shared a throwback photo from his younger years.

In the snap, Ruffalo was posing beside a brick wall in a white shirt with a sketch of Beethoven screen printed on the front of it, smiling.

"Channeling my inner music festival kid," Ruffalo reminisced in the caption, later asking fans what they think of his former style, "Should we take another crack at it?"

Fans immediately fawned over the old photo of The Adam Project star, not afraid to let him know how they truly felt.

"looks like an indie band vocalist 😍," one Instagram user gushed.

"👏👏❤️ lindo Mark," approved another admiring fan.

Someone else demanded Ruffalo "bring back the fro."

Others, however, couldn't help but notice the similarities between the photo of the young actor and the legendary British-born Guns N' Roses guitarist Slash.

"Slash from guns n roses?" questioned one follower, who was joined by a chorus of others who thought similarly. "Is that You Slash ?" another asked, while a third admitted, "Looking a little like Slash in this one."

If you don't see the resemblance, you wouldn't be alone. We think he looks like the teenage version of himself, but the jury of public opinion would rule otherwise.

At least one fan thought the actor looked more like Netflix breakout star Noah Centineo in this photo, asserting, "This picture is proof Noah Centineo is the spitting image of a young Mark Ruffalo."

Someone else suggested the throwback photo could actually be an image of someone related to Bob Ross, joking, "I didn't know Bob Ross had a son! 🙃🎨🖼."
