Keanu Reeves is reportedly in talks to star in Hulu's series adaptation of Erik Larson's 2003 book, The Devil In The White City.

If the two parties reach a deal, this will mark the actor's first major US TV role. The Devil In The White City follows the true story of Daniel H. Burnham, the architect of Chicago World's Fair in 1893, and Henry H. Holmes, a doctor who is widely considered as the first modern serial killer who created his "Murder Castle" on the fair grounds.

Leonardo DiCaprio first bought the book's film rights in 2010, and initially meant for it to become a feature film with Paramount with Martin Scorsese at the helm. The famed director is still attached to the project and will serve as an executive producer alongside DiCaprio, Rick Yorn, Sam Shaw, Jennifer Davisson and Stacey Sher.
