Outdoor pursuits are Renshaw’s specialty. She gets clients out horseback riding in Jasper, Alberta; biking around Vancouver; and beluga-whale watching in the high Arctic. Lately, she’s also been recommending trips to Nova Scotia, particularly the vineyards of the Annapolis Valley and the port towns of Lunenburg and Mahone Bay.
“As a result of the pandemic, a lot of Canadians used this time to travel within their own country—which I was thrilled about,” says the Canada native. “A family of three teenage children and two parents wanted adventure, but were open to the location. I have a strong relationship with a family-owned lodge in the high Canadian Arctic — so the guests were able to charter fly into this lodge up at 74 degrees north latitude. The family helped a group of scientists gather research on muskoxen–and one of the sons even received a job offer by one of the fellow guests!”
