Wedding bells are ringing! Issa Rae and Louis Diame have officially tied the knot. The writer, producer, and actress confirmed her nuptials to her longtime love on Instagram with a series of photos and a lighthearted caption: "A) Impromptu photo shoot in a custom @verawanggang dress. B) My girls came to help me, but they all coincidentally had on the same dress! They were sooooo embarrassed. C) Then I took a few flicks with Somebody's Husband. Big thanks to @whiteedenweddings for being so gracious and accommodating and making this feel so real and special."

The couple held a private ceremony in the South of France, which was captured by Lauren Fair. Mylene and Geoffrey of White Eden Weddings planned and designed the big day. Rae donned a custom Vera Wang wedding dress—she accented the voluminous ball gown with a flowing veil and a colorful bouquet—and Diame sported a red suit from Dolce & Gabbana; her bridesmaids wore matching dresses in a dusty rose shade. While the Insecure star has kept her relationship private over the years, her TV co-stars were vocal about the pair's engagement back in 2019. "We're very excited for her," Yvonne Orji said at the NAACP Awards. Jay Ellis added, "We all found out in different ways because we're all on different text chains. We talk at different times, so we all found out at different times in different ways."

Rae has shared the reason why she keeps her relationship out of the spotlight: "I remember, back in the day, I used to post my relationship from a long time ago," she previously told Bustle. "And I remember I saw these commenters that I didn't know, comment on an old picture and be like, 'See.' And I was like, 'Oh, I don't like this.' And then, from that point forward, I was like, 'Oh, I'm never acknowledging anything.'"

However, the multi-hyphenate did tell Vogue back in 2018 that when it comes to other parts of life, she is all ears. "I don't want any input," Rae said of her relationship. "As a writer, you put everything on the table. I'll take input on kids if I'm going to have kids. How do I not kill the kids? Work? Give me the input. Any other aspect of my life? Give me the input." The warmest wishes to the newlyweds!
