Fascinating experiment demonstrates the magic of soap

Fascinating experiment demonstrates the magic of soap. One of the most important things parents can teach their children is the importance of hand-washing. Mom of two, Kelly Rose Sarno, shared a video of her 4-year-old son, Declan, trying out an experiment to demonstrate how soap repels germs. “We’re going to learn about germs,” Sarno says in the video before adding crushed pepper, or “germs,” to a water dish. Her child reluctantly sticks his finger into the solution, then withdraws it, covered in pepper. “I got germs”. Next, he dips the same finger in a soap container, then places it back in the “germ” solution. He reacts with amazement as the pepper retreats to the sides of the container. Sarno told “Good Morning America” she thought her followers would enjoy the video, . but never expected it to become as popular as it did, surpassing 50 million views on Facebook. “Everyone seems excited to share it with their littles … And [there are] lots of tags of teachers so they can try it in their classrooms”. The dramatic visual is an effective way to remind kids and adults alike that soap protects us from dangerous germs that can spread easily
