It’s no secret that celebrities have access to the best beauty products to prep for a big award show. And before they hit the red (actually, purple) carpet at last night’s 71st Emmy Awards, our favorite television stars got ready with everything from skin-brightening serums to drugstore hairspray.
Ahead, shop the key products celebs used to look fabulous.
For Game of Thrones actor Kit Harington, skincare was an important part of his routine for the big evening. He doubled down on vitamin C to achieve his camera-ready complexion using Emma Hardie Vitamin C Intense Daily Serum ($75) and Moisture Boost Vit+C Cream ($69). The anti-aging ingredient diminishes the appearance of dark spots and brightens skin with a youthful glow.
Killing Eve star Jodie Comer, who took home the Emmy for best actress in a drama series, relied on Dove hair products for her glamorous, ‘60s-inspired ‘do. The brand’s celebrity stylist Mark Townsend used Dove Style + Care Compressed Micro Mist Extra Hold Hairspray ($4) to lock in her half-up style and tame flyaways.
Rachel Brosnahan got her skin ready with none other than Cetaphil. Part of her regimen included the brand’s newest clay mask to gently exfoliate and remove excess oil followed by a moisturizer with SPF. The result? Gorgeous, glowy skin!
The Mrs. Maisel star went “bagless” to the Emmys thanks to a pair of soothing eye patches from Klorane. Borstein, who shared her beauty secret on Instagram, used the patches as a quick and easy way to depuff and brighten tired eyes. They’re also infused with cornflower for a cooling and relaxing effect.
Using a cocktail of Love Beauty and Planet Coconut Milk & White Jasmine Hair Milk ($7) and Suave Professionals for Natural Hair Curl Defining Cream ($5), Zendaya’s hairstylist achieved the old Hollywood glam style that stole the show. Who knew a couple of drugstore products could create such a stellar look?
The star of Fleabag looked effortlessly elegant, complete with beautiful curls. To get the look, celebrity hairstylist Dennis Gots used the Dyson Supersonic hairdryer to create soft waves, and set her hair using the dryer’s diffuser attachment.
Mandy Moore’s retro-inspired hair and soft makeup were stunning, but we can’t get over her flawless skin. Makeup artist Jenn Streicher prepped her skin with NuFace Fix, a portable microcurrent device that’s gentle enough to use around the eyes, lips and mouth to smooth and firm skin in just three minutes. Over time, the high-tech device diminishes the look of fine lines and wrinkles. Sign us up!
Best Supporting Actress winner Julia Garner rocked a simple, sleek bun—and the hair products she used were just as straightforward. Celebrity hairstylist Bobby Eliot mixed Marc Anthony True Professional Bye.Bye Frizz Keratin Smoothing Blow Dry Cream ($10) and Bye.Bye Frizz Leave-In Conditioner ($9) to create the look. He finished off the minimalist style and tamed flyaways with Bye.Bye Frizz 8-in-1 Perfecting Serum ($9).
