Founded in March 2020 by Reidie MacDonald, Short & Suite is making quite a name for itself in the fashion jewelry space. Short & Suite’s designs are immediately eye-catching, thanks to the vibrant colors and exaggerated silhouettes they feature – and the best part is, you don’t have to break the bank to buy a piece.
After working in luxury fashion for years, MacDonald was ready to start her own business making luxurious products more accessible. After seeing a void of luxe, statement jewelry at approachable price points on the market, she created Short & Suite.
MacDonald shares on her brand’s about page that she wanted to combine her love of both travel and jewelry in her business, so all of the colors in her designs are based on places she’s traveled to or wants to visit. Her products utilize mostly gold-plated brass and high-quality crystals, including Swarovski. These budget-friendly materials allow her to price her jewelry between $25 and $165 (and every order ships for free).
MacDonald explains, “I made the price point not totally entry, but not crazy, so that it could feel like if it’s a present to someone, it’s a nice, thought-out present. And if you’re buying it for yourself, it’s equally a great gift for you.”

Also worth noting, celebrities can’t seem to get enough of Short & Suite. Bella Hadid, Emma Chamberlain, Miranda Kerr and Emily Ratajkowski are just a few well-known, repeat wearers of the brand (you can shop the exact pieces they wore here). Influencer and internet “big sister” Tinx is even a “Suiteheart.”
Short & Suite’s chunky, candy-colored, bezel-set rings seem to be what the brand is most known for, but you shouldn’t overlook its delicate stacking rings, hoop earrings and other eternity styles.
