Griffins forward Taro Hirose suspended two games for slashing Rockford's Cole Guttman

One of the Grand Rapids Griffins' top offensive weapons is going to miss some time due to his actions. On Tuesday, the American Hockey League announced winger Taro Hirose has been suspended two games for slashing Cole Guttman of the Rockford IceHogs. While the Griffins were trying to kill off a penalty, Hirose caught Guttman with a slash on the hands as he was trying to enter the offensive zone.
