Not only do the Toronto Maple Leafs have tough decisions to make on the trade front in attempts to shake things up with the core, there's also talk of what to do about their many impending unrestricted free agents. One of the names that's going to be debated is forward Tyler Bertuzzi. It was a tale of two seasons for Bertuzzi, where he struggled to produce offensively in the first half of the season, but picked it up in the second half. Are you going to get the Bertuzzi that was energetic and crashed the net to score goals?
Free agency season is less than two months away. The Seattle Kraken are among those clubs who have been idle for a few weeks – save, of course, the firing of head coach Dave Hakstol on April 29. All 32 teams have pending free agents on their rosters, but the hottest commodities are the ones that at least helped their clubs make the postseason. With that in mind and given the Kraken's scoring woes, which offensively gifted unrestricted free agents (UFA) from recently eliminated playoff teams could Seattle envision signing?
The Tampa Bay Lightning were eliminated from the Stanley Cup Playoffs with a 6-1 loss to the Florida Panthers on Monday, and Lightning head coach Jon Cooper did not hold back on two goalie interference calls that went against them. The first call in question was a coach's challenge by the Panthers at 13 minutes in the first period, when an Anthony Cirelli goal was taken off the board due to it being ruled that Anthony Duclair impaired Sergei Bobrovsky's ability to play his position in the crease.
