Las Vegas Raiders' Quarterback Battle
The Las Vegas Raiders ultimately only made one impactful move to address the quarterback position this offseason -- signing veteran quarterback Gardner Minshew. The Raiders did not select a quarterback in this year's draft. All top quarterbacks in the draft were selected before the Raiders had their pick. The Raiders bring back second-year quarterback Aidan O'Connell, who took over starting duties when Raiders coach Antonio Pierce took over as interim last season.

Expert Commentary
This is a bit of a surprise at this point because the Raiders just drafted Michael Mayer last year, but it’s hard to get too mad at adding a talent like Brock damn Bowers. The Raiders' two-tight end personnel sets are going to be a beast and they’ll be in good position to make life easier for whoever is playing quarterback for them this year.

Expert Commentary
This is probably a good spot for Powers-Johnson, who was announced as a guard instead of a center. Regardless, the Raiders needed bodies on the interior and Powers-Johnson is a credible player to add at guard. Very steady starter.
