York County sees hail, power outages with storm

YORK COUNTY, S.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — A strong storm Saturday afternoon brought hail and power outages.

The storm was expected to produce hail up to the size of a golf ball.

Over 3,000 customers lost power in the City of York around 4 p.m., according to the Duke Energy outage map. Power is expected to be restored around 7 a.m. Sunday morning.
