SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — Some California cities have better drivers than others, while some places in the Golden State have landed on a list of the nation’s top 25 worst cities to drive in, according to a recent study by Forbes.

Researchers compared 47 major metropolitan cities and ranked them using 15 metrics across four different categories: driving experience, safety, cost of car ownership and access to car maintenance. This includes the number of hours spent in traffic, the average commute time, the number of fatal car accidents per 100,000 residents and amount of money spent on gas, among other factors.
