Woodbridge man killed in early morning crash

PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTY, Va. (DC News Now) — The Prince William County Police Department (PWCPD) said a man was killed in a crash in the early hours of Friday in Woodbridge.

Officers responded to the single-vehicle crash at the intersection of Redwing Drive and Swallow Court at 2:30 a.m. Investigators said 33-year-old Donnell Tyquan Epps was speeding on Redwing Drive when he lost control of the car.

Police said he was not wearing a seatbelt when he drove into a ravine, causing the car to roll over. Epps was pronounced dead at the scene.

Driver crashes into tree, dies in Montgomery County

Speed and alcohol were believed to be factors in the crash.
