Remaking an original is no easy feat. It's the challenge DC Comics faces as it launches Wonder Woman on June 2 - AKA its redemption bid after less-than-ideal reviews for the much-hyped Batman v. Superman and Suicide Squad movies. It's also the challenge one Florida restaurant faced when it decided to reinvent the burger - and make it fit for Amazon royalty.

Datz in Tampa, FL, created this three-tiered wonder, which is like a Big Mac taken to superhero proportions. It's called the Amazon Warrior, and it features three buns (red, yellow and blue, with the top one dotted with cheese stars - a nod to Lynda Carter's costume in the 1975 TV series), two beef patties, pineapple, lettuce, tomato, pickle, and onions. Oh, and more cheese, because is a cheeseburger even a cheeseburger if it isn't smothered with the stuff? Let's be real.

Like Wonder Woman herself - particularly Gal Gadot's ultra-fierce version - there's nothing dainty about this dish.

"We wanted something that would juxtapose the gritty-yet-modern warrior/athlete feeling of the new movie with the iconic, Lynda Carter-Wonder Woman TV version," chef Joe Rivera explained.

Over-the-top burgers are nothing new for the restaurant, which was featured on Good Morning America for its Cheesy Todd, a massive burger with two deep-fried macaroni and cheese "buns." It's been Datz's best-seller, followed by the Double D burger, a double cheeseburger served on two whole glazed doughnuts. It's not for the faint of heart - or narrow-arteried - but Rivera believes this new burger has the potential to outshine them all.

"We think this might edge those out!" he says. "It's huge in size and photographs incredibly well for social media. It offers something for everyone."

There you have it: If you're in it for the 'gram - or have an appetite the size of Themyscira - you can't go wrong with this meal of epic proportions.
