Woman shot dead in Carney on Sunday afternoon, Baltimore County Police say
A woman was shot and killed in Baltimore County on Sunday afternoon.
Baltimore County Police said early Monday morning that officers responded at about 3 p.m. Sunday to a reported homicide in the unit block of Whitelaw Place in Carney.
Paramedics declared the victim, a woman who was suffering from multiple gunshot wounds, dead at the scene, police said.
Police did not immediately identify the woman Monday morning. Investigators believe the homicide was a “targeted incident.”
