This woman just discovered that the circle in a Glad container lid is a second lid, and we’re shook

Sometimes you discover something that’s been there all along, and the only reasonable reaction is to lose your damn mind. Facebook user Sarah Rose made the discovery that Glad plastic containers have a hidden lid INSIDE the lid.

That circle in the lids of all Glad containers is actually a secondary lid for a smaller salad dressing container. We don’t know about you, but we always just assumed that circle in the lid was a design element and not a way to store salad dressing.

Rose’s “revelation” has started to go viral with most people chiming in and simply writing, “WHAT.”

“UM. HOW AM I JUST NOW finding out that the circle on these lids are actually lids for the tiny containers?! someone please tell me I’m not the only one who didn’t know this,” wrote Rose.

No, girl, you are not the only one who didn’t know this. We are equally shook by the discovery. Besides the people who are simply confounded by the realization, we love the commenters who are confused by what Rose is packing in those hidden cups.

“I wanna know what the f is surrounding the green beans lol,” someone wrote on her photo.

But seriously, what is that green stuff?

Glad has even marketed the product with the built-in cap storage and yet so many of us still completely missed it.

This Glad container thing is truly a revelation. We could have been packing serving-sized dollops of dressing with our salads this whole time?
