Woman injured after apartment fire in Southeast DC

WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — DC Fire and EMS said a woman was injured after an apartment fire in Southeast D.C. on Tuesday morning.

Crews said that at about 7:40 a.m., they were dispatched to the 4400 block Falls Terrace for a fire in a two-story apartment building.

Loudoun County offering financial help to people struggling to pay rent, facing eviction

Firefighters removed a woman from the first floor of the building.

The fire is under control.

The woman was transported to the hospital with critical injuries.
