Woman broke into Centre County garage to defecate, stole knife before leaving, police say

A woman was charged Sunday with burglary and DUI after she went into a detached garage in Centre County, defecated on the ground and took a pocketknife before driving away under the influence.

Christina E. Wilson, 30, of Clearfield County, told investigators she entered the garage in Worth Township and defecated on the ground because she “succumbed to a bathroom emergency,” state police at Rockview wrote in an affidavit of probable cause.

She also admitted to taking the pocketknife, police wrote.

Wilson displayed “numerous indicators of impairment” during field sobriety tests, police wrote. She told a state trooper that she uses a straw to “snort her prescription medications,” police wrote.

No defense lawyer was listed. A voicemail was left Monday at a phone number listed for Wilson.

Wilson was charged with one felony count of burglary and one misdemeanor count of criminal trespass, DUI and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was also charged with a summary count of criminal mischief and a traffic violation.

She was arraigned Sunday by District Judge Don Hahn, who released her on $25,000 bail. Her preliminary hearing is scheduled for April 24.
