Woman begs for help as man shoots her over mistaken scam concerns

A man in Ohio fatally shot an Uber driver. William Brock said he shot Loletha Hall because he thought she was working with a scammer who demanded money and threatened him over the phone. At the time, Hall who police say didn’t know about the attempted extortion or threats, received a request on the Uber app to pick up a package from Brock’s home. Brock has been charged with murder and pleaded not guilty. CNN has reached out to Hall’s family and Brock’s defense attorney, Paul Kavanagh, for comment.
