Woman allegedly steals car, leads Mobile Police on chase to Daphne

MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) — A woman was arrested Saturday after she stole a vehicle and led police on a chase to Daphne, according to a news release from the Mobile Police Department.

Officers were called to a Chevron, located at 1300 Government Boulevard, around 10 p.m. Saturday for a report of a woman driving off in another person’s car, according to the release.

LOCATION:

The release said officers located the vehicle and tried to pull it over; however, the driver refused to stop.

The chase ended when the vehicle became disabled after hitting a pole at a Daphne Shell gas station, located at 29279 Highway 98, according to the release.
