THEODORE, Ala. (WKRG) — The students from Nan Gray Davis Elementary School and Griggs Elementary learned all about weather and what meteorologists do from WKRG News 5’s own Caroline Carithers.

Over 170 students attended the career fair event to learn about several fields.

Carithers, who graduated from the University of South Alabama and has been with WKRG for five years, set up a table at the event and spoke with students about what she does as a meteorologist.

She quizzed students about the weather with questions like: “What is the difference between a tornado watch and a tornado warning?”
