Wiregrass school cares for three abandoned puppies; one finds new home, others up for adoption

DALE COUNTY, Ala. (WDHN) — After spending time at one Wiregrass school, three abandoned puppies are on their way to find a new home.

The three abandoned dogs showed up at G.W. Long Elementary School last week, where they were cared for and treated by staff at the school and by students

Two of the puppies are now at the Ozark Police Department Animal Shelter, where they are up for adoption to hopefully find a new home soon.

The other abandoned puppy sparked interest from one family and has found a new home ahead of the Summer break.
