A former teacher at a prestigious boarding school has been found not guilty of two counts of sexual activity with a pupil.

Simon Taylor, 78, taught English and Drama at Winchester College, a school attended by Prime Minister Rishi Sunak.

The defendant was accused of kissing and cuddling a teenage boy who visited him at his home in 2005 and 2006.

Mr Taylor, of Bermondsey, London, was discharged following the verdicts at Winchester Crown Court.
