Jay Blades' wife Lisa-Marie Zboven has shared a cryptic message on Instagram amidst her split from The Repair Shop star.

The fitness instructor announced their shock split on Thursday morning after just 18 months of marriage.

Taking to her social media on Thursday evening, the 44-year-old shared a line sketch of a man and a woman sharing an embrace.

The drawing showed the woman touching the man's face while he put his hands around her waist, which she captioned with a red love-heart emoji.

Her post comes hours after she was left overcome with emotion as she thanked her social media followers for their support on Thursday evening.

Taking to her Instagram Story, Ms Zboven didn’t show her face on camera but confessed that despite “wanting the marriage to work so much” she felt she “couldn't be enough”.

She shared through tears: “Ok I am going to try this for the fortieth time without crying.

“So, I just want to say thank you so much to everyone who has sent a message and been so nice.”

Saying through tears: “I don't really, I still don't really believe that this is actually real because if you knew how much I loved my husband and how much I have tried to make this work over and over again.

“I just wanted it so much and I couldn't be enough. I couldn't seem to get it right ever.”

“So here I am. Thank you everybody who has sent me things to read etc. It is really helpful because your mind wanders into memories as supposed to facts,” she continued.

“And I know there are a lot of you out there who resonate with what I am going through right now and I wonder when you get to the point where you won't feel so bad about yourself.

“When you don't feel like, you just don't understand why you just weren't enough? Why everything you did just didn't seem to be enough?”

The fitness influencer then captioned her final story, “One day at a time” alongside a heartbroken emoji, and said: “Big breaths, one day at a time right. One day at a time. It's just really sad, I should be angry but I just, I'm just sad.”

Sharing the news of their split earlier on Thursday, she wrote on social media: “I don't know how to say this because it's still really raw.

“I probably should be really angry but I'm just incredibly sad about the whole thing right now. I don't think I've ever cried so much.

"I will admit I'm crying as I type this as I can't believe this is even real. I hope you don't mind if I just have a few days trying to figure out my life as I'm currently in a spare room with a few essentials. I don't know what else to say.

“All my love, A very broken Lisa-Marie,” the 44-year-old added.

The former couple tied the knot in an intimate beachfront wedding in Barbados in 2022, with just 15 guests in attendance.

Before his marriage to Ms Zbozen, Blade was married to his ex-wife Jade. The former couple welcomed a daughter, Zola, 15, together but split in 2015.

The furniture restorer and BBC presenter also has two other children from separate previous relationships.

News of his split comes days after the 54-year-old announced that he would be taking time away from social media to process his grief following the death of his uncle.

Blades’ uncle Richard Brathwaite, 72, was reportedly stabbed to death by a neighbour on a quiet residential street following a long-standing dispute over a shared alleyway on March 21.

The Standard has contacted Jay Blades rep for comment.
