“Caregivers can work on that’s super helpful is having that independence piece of having them, ‘How do you put on a jacket? Well, how do you zip up a jacket?’ Those types of things to help them get ready for kindergarten,” said Ashley Welsh, a kindergarten teacher at Harry Street Elementary.

Each elementary school will host events on Tuesday, May 7. Check your school’s website for specific times.
