3 QUESTIONS
...about Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire
I asked entertainment writer Garin Flowers, a lifelong fan, to geek out on the new Ghostbusters movie with us.
Lily: What’s this latest Ghostbusters about?
Garin: It’s a sequel to 2021’s Ghostbusters: Afterlife. The Ghostbusters will have to save the world from a second ice age after an ancient artifact unleashes an army of ghosts.
Lily: True or false: Dan Aykroyd, Bill Murray and Ernie Hudson are back?
Garin: It’s true! They’ll be teaming up with the young Ghostbusters at the OG New York City firehouse where it all began!
Lily: You’re steeped in Ghostbusters history. What’s something that might surprise fans?
Garin: Ernie Hudson (aka Winston) once said that he’d heard his character was written for Eddie Murphy. Imagine that! We love Ernie, though.
Get excited: Watch Bill Murray and Ernie Hudson play the original Ghostbusters theme song.
