Why people think Meghan Markle is pregnant after her appearance at Eugenie's wedding
Meghan Markle turned up to Princess Eugenie and Jack Brookbank's wedding today wearing clothes, which obviously resulted in speculation that she's pregnant.
Meghan arrived along with Prince Harry at St George's Chapel in the grounds of Windsor Castle keeping a very low profile today, and wearing a navy blue dress by Givenchy (which just so happened to be the designer of her wedding dress). But along with the dress - shock, horror - the Duchess of Sussex also wore a coat.
Of course, the fact it's October, it's cold and it's bloody windy outside completely passed some observers by, who jumped straight to the conclusion that the coat must be a cover-up for a growing baby bump.
I stayed up just to see what Meghan Markle is wearing and if she looks pregnant. She’s wore a long blue jacket that she didn’t take off in the Church. Could she be hiding something? 😳#RoyalWedding pic.twitter.com/uwm7nNVtv0

Something about Meghan's outfit choice makes me think she's pregnant and hiding a baby bump. It's so conservative.

Judging by the fact that she’s wearing a heavy coat indoors; Meghan Markle is either pregnant or the type to get chilly easily. #royalwedding #royalwedding2

But maybe we should all give Meghan a bit of a break? She's been married for five months, she's about to embark upon her first official overseas tour as a member of the royal family, and she's probably got better things to worry about than whether people think there's something growing in her uterus.
This isn't the first time Meghan has been at the centre of speculation that she's pregnant thanks to what she wore, either. When she turned up to the '100 Days of Peace' at Central Hall Westminster last month wearing a bright blue, sleeveless Jason Wu dress that wasn't skin-tight over her stomach, the rumours were rife then, too.
Meghan might be pregnant; she might not. Royal commentators suggest she and Harry may not have started trying for a baby quite yet because of the two-week tour to Australia, New Zealand, Fiji and the Kingdom of Tonga. The itinerary for the trip is pretty heavy going, with 76 engagements scheduled in over 16 days, which might not be ideal timing for a first-time pregnancy. But even considering that, it's all down to Meghan and Harry and the decisions they want to make about their own future family.
So let's all just lay off the Sherlock style investigations and rest assured in the knowledge that if the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are expecting a baby, we will absolutely be told about it at a time they feel comfortable with.
