White Chocolate Peanut M&M's Are Coming This Fall
Here's a conversation starter for your next party: Ask people how they feel about white chocolate. The super-sweet cocoa incites rage in some and fierce defensiveness in others. But despite the love-hate relationship, candy-makers are jumping aboard the white chocolate train, dipping their beloved candies in the stuff.
M&M's joined the club last year when the brand launched White Chocolate M&M's. Though a lot of the limited-time flavors are white chocolate-based - like Strawberry Shortcake and Pumpkin Pie - it was the first time the classic candy had come out with a plain white chocolate coating. Now, M&M's is expanding the line. This fall, White Chocolate Peanut M&M's are hitting shelves.
Apparently, white chocolate-lovers are more vocal than people who prefer dark or milk. "We've witnessed the demand for white chocolate growing at a rate more than three times that of other chocolate flavors," brand director Allison Miazga-Bedrick revealed in a press release. The candies themselves won't look any different than Milk Chocolate Peanut M&M's. They'll be coated in the signature colorful shells.
Look for them come fall in three sizes: a single packet, one for "sharing", and a super-big, zip-up pack. If you can't wait until then, shop all your other favorite white chocolate candies below.
