Some areas come with a heftier price tag than others depending on where you’re apartment-hunting, like South End, NoDa, Plaza Midwood and Uptown.
Like any other city, rent prices fluctuate year to year and even month to month based on a variety of factors.
Here’s a look at 5 of the most expensive one-bedroom apartments currently on the market (as of March 28, 2024) in Charlotte, according to Apartments.com:
The VUE

The VUE is a high-rise luxury apartment building — the tallest between New Jersey and Miami — nestled in the heart of uptown Charlotte. The Reed
