🍲 WHAT'S COOKING: Mac and cheese every which way at Gionino's in Bucyrus

Anyone in need of a cheese fix can find it on the updated menu at Gionino’s Pizzeria of Bucyrus.

One of two new offerings is macaroni and cheese bowls, the recipe of which also tops the mac and cheese pizza and g-mac and cheese pizzas.

Also new are foldovers with side sauces.

David Gleason, one of the Gionino's owners, said macaroni and cheese bowls come with sliced chicken breast and wings, along with sauces like Buckeye, buffalo and ranch sauce.

Classic macaroni and cheese also is available.

Gleason said the macaroni and cheese served in the bowls also goes on top of the macaroni and cheese pizzas and g-mac-and-cheese pizzas, which are popular with customers.

Macaroni and cheese bowls are topped with provolone cheese just like the White Cheddar Macaroni and Cheese pizza, he said.

Gianino's macaroni and cheese bowls start at $10.95 with additional toppings available for an extra charge. Bowls were introduced as a limited time offer.

Foldovers and regularly updated menus

Gionino’s Pizzeria also introduced foldovers that can be ordered with up to five toppings and a variety of side sauces.

Last winter the pizzeria introduced winter specials including Family Feast with large pizza and topping and eight chicken pieces; large pizza and topping and Gionino's bread; and medium pizzas with toppings, wings, salad and subs.

Gionino's Pizza also offers daily lunch specials 10:30 a.m.-3 p.m.
