TYLER, Texas (KETK) – The headliner for the 2024 Cattle Baron’s Ball held in Tyler will be west Texas native and country singer Randall King.

Give Cancer the Boot: 2024 Cattle Barons Gala theme revealed

The theme for the 36th annual ball is ‘Give Cancer the Boot’ and will be held at the Texas Rose Horse Park on June 8.

King has more than 300 million streams with singles like “You In A Honky Tonk,” “Hey Cowgirl” and “Mirror, Mirror.” He has toured across the U.S., U.K. and Europe and plays nearly 150 shows a year.

The Cattle Baron’s Ball is the primary fundraiser for the American Cancer Society in Tyler.

“We are so thrilled to have Randall King performing at Ball,” Kimberly Taylor, the 2024 chair, said. “We invite you to join us on June 8 at the Texas Rose Horse Park as we ‘Give Cancer the Boot.’”

For Taylor, this mission is personal because her mother passed away from cancer back in May 2021.

The ACS awarded $15,000 to Smith County health systems in 2022 in patient transportation grants this year. It funded over 1,730 rides to patients across Smith County in the past two years.

Tickets are on sale for the 2024 event and people can purchase them on their website.
