Weather in New Jersey: How much rain did we get? Nor'easter could bring floods to Jersey Shore
A developing storm is bringing heavy rain to the Jersey Shore this morning.
A flood watch is in effect for Monmouth and Ocean counties with up to four inches expected by tomorrow morning, according to the National Weather Service.
Jersey Central Power & Light Co. reported 772 customers without power shortly before 2 p.m. Most customers who were without power earlier in Brick's Herbertsville section have seen their power restored. Fewer than 20 customers remain without power there.

Areas that have already received more than 2 inches of rain include parts of Berkeley, Brick, Toms River, Jackson, Manchester, Lacey, Lakewood, Point Pleasant, Holmdel, Howell and Matawan.
In Berkeley, more than 3 inches of rain had fallen at Ocean County Airport by 4 p.m. Over 3 inches of rain has also been reported in parts of Freehold and Howell, according to the National Weather Service.
Flooding today
There have not yet been any reports of major flooding at the central Jersey Shore. Flooding is happening in Atlantic County; Route 40 has been closed in Buena due to high water.
