Wayback Burgers of Woodland Park will present a $2,500 check to members of the Boys & Girls Club of the Pike’s Peak Region during the event at 11 a.m. to support their mission of enhancing the development of youth ages six to 18 by providing specialized programs for success, promoting healthy lifestyles, and fostering leadership development.

Wayback Burgers was founded in Newark, Delaware in 1991 and has become known for its made-to-order burgers and thick, hand-dipped milkshakes. The menu also features crispy chicken sandwiches, cheesesteaks, and hotdogs, as well as tasty sides such as chili cheese fries, fried pickles, and cheese curds.

The restaurant is at 751 Gold Hill Place South in Woodland Park and is the first location owned by Claudia Lauzon, who was inspired to become a franchisee by the company’s exceptional customer service and wide variety of fresh quality food. She is excited to introduce the community to the menu and specifically encourages guests to try her personal favorite: the Double Bacon Burger.
