Way-too-early World Series odds: Vegas releases title chances for all 30 teams

The light at the end of the long, snowy tunnel is here -- MLB Opening Day has arrived.

Well, this year, Opening Day doesn't mark the end of winter quite as much as it usually does. March 29 is the earliest-ever start to a professional baseball season. Opening Day 2018 was pushed up to afford teams more off days during the season without pushing the World Series further into November.

While the World Series and November may seem like they're ages away now, it's never too early to start wondering: Which team will take home the Commissioner's Trophy this fall?

Last season's American League and National League champions, the Houston Astros and Los Angeles Dodgers, are naturally among the betting favorites to win it all. Other rosters expected to be among 2018's best include more 2017 playoff teams, like the New York Yankees, Cleveland Indians and Boston Red Sox.

It's not all about the big markets, though. There's an exciting parity in baseball right now, partially due to the slow free agent signing period and lack of blockbuster moves made this offseason. Really, 2018 could be anyone's year.
