Water main break ties up traffic on Center Street in Auburn
May 1—AUBURN — A water main break Wednesday on Center Street near the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Bridge blocked traffic from using the onramp in the northbound lane.
The city's Facebook page shared a traffic alert notifying motorists of the break.
Significant delays to traffic were expected and motorists were advised to avoid the area, the post said.
Attempts to reach city officials Wednesday evening to learn the status of the situation were unsuccessful.
